DVB-S2 Signal Generation Toolkit


The MAXEYE Technologies Signal generation software is an ideal test tool for generating test signals with different configurations and under different conditions. It can be used to completely test the receiver so as to characterize its performance during design, verification and manufacturing. The receiver's performance can be verified by analyzing BER at various stages (e.g. BER after demodulation, BER after inner decoding and BER after outer decoding).

This toolkit offers standard based test solution for designing, evaluating and manufacturing Digital video broadcasting- second generation satellite (DVB-S2) equipment's. DVB-S2 has been designed as a successor for the popular DVB-S system. It was developed by the DVB Project, an international industry consortium, and ratified by ETSI (EN 302307) in March 2005.


Introduction of a generic transport mechanism for IP packet data including MPEG-4 audio-video streams, while supporting backward compatibility with existing MPEG-2 TS based transmission.
